Oink Country Love – My Heart Is Country
I do have to admit – this is, without a doubt, the weirdest name for a slot I’ve ever seen in my life. But names aren’t everything, so let’s not judge a book by its cover and dive deep into Microgaming’s new offering!
It’s not exactly Old McDonald, but Slotomania has a pretty cool farm too! Make sure to claim the offer for November 2024!

Format and Basic Rules
The slot takes place on a farm run by anthropomorphic animals that appear to have taken over from the humans. No word from Microgaming if this is supposed to be a sequel to George Orwell’s classic novel “Animal Farm”, but the word from me is that it doesn’t need to be – these symbols and colors stand all on its own. While some of the models and images feel a little off (let me tell you, it’s weird to see a horse with human breasts), overall there’s a lot of energy and life into these illustrations. It pains me to say, but that same energy hasn’t been transferred into the rest of this slot. There’s two features worthy of note, one of which is that there’s two different Wild symbols which are interchangeable, but offer a small bonus when combined together. Ultimately, this is an idea that falls a little flat, since the presence of two different Wilds doesn’t really make a difference. Getting three scatters triggers a bonus round that can give you up to 80 free spins, but that was pretty rare, and the feature didn’t stand out to me.

Conclusion – No Country For Old Pigs
“Oink Country Love” is fine. Let me put that on record – it’s fine. It’s alright. It’s not bad. Its visuals are pretty fun (even if a few fall into the uncanny valley, like that horse with breasts which has made me question my taste in women), and the bonus game, while uninspired, can potentially give you a decently sized win. If you want a slot about pigs playing country music in a farm, you have very particular tastes, but this should satisfy them quite nicely. Problem is, for a brand new Microgaming slot, I’d expect them to do a little bit more with it, to add a little something that we’ve never seen before, and they don’t do that here. It might be biased, but to me, personally, this slot was a little bit disappointing because of that.
