An Overview of the Rules and Features
The Golden Ticket slot invites you to one glorious afternoon at the circus. There are three main characters in this one, each with their own unique symbol. What would a circus be without the ring master conducting proceedings and getting the audience pumped up? He is the top dog of the slot and offers the highest payout when matched. Next comes the strong man and the clown. The rest of the symbols come in the form of the essential accessories to the initial three characters. You have the ring master’s hat and whip, the strong man’s weights and the clown’s juggling pins. The innovative Play’n GO have scrapped the conventional payline system in this one and instead opted for 5×5 grid that pays out by simply matching three or more symbols in a row; up, down, sideways; as long as they are in row. The game doesn’t stop there, however. All winning combinations will suddenly vanish and be replaced by new symbols that drop down from above, creating a cascading reel effect that brings with it additional winning opportunities. The Golden Ticket symbol will act as a wild for all symbols, only it will not vanish once a winning combination has been struck, creating a spiralling accumulated win effect clearing nearly all of the symbols on the reels. Should you succeed in removing all of the symbols on a single reel, you will have revealed the word ‘BONUS’ and a new bonus round will be activated complete with brand new symbols and a different board. You will be awarded with ten free rounds where your aim is to match at least five symbols anywhere on the board. The symbols pop up randomly and disappear once a match has been made. Once this occurs, the entire board will disappear, and a new round will begin with a fresh array of symbols. You can see the unique individual payouts of each symbol below. Hit five or more of the bonus symbols and you could be rewarded with up to 20 free bonus rounds.

Conclusion – Lacks Bite
The Golden Ticket slot game offers a lot of wins over a short period of time due to the lack of paylines and the match winning combination style of gameplay. However, these are usually much smaller mini-wins as opposed to netting big pay days. The RTP rate for this game is 96.73%, which is about average for the Play’n GO reviews we have completed in the past, and pretty decent overall. The design of the game is a bit bland and offers little when compared to some of the more modern 3D video slots we are beginning to see these days. Overall, if you are looking for something a bit different, this 5×5 grid style slot is certainly worth a go.
